Srivalli Vilapakkam Nagarajan

Dementia Centre, Hammondcare

Srivalli is a data and information officer undertaking research activities at the Dementia Centre, HammondCare. She has previoulsy worked as a project and evaluation coordinator (at the Palliative Centre, HammondCare) for a Department of Health funded National Palliative Care Project called the Advance Project focused on initiating advance care planning and palliative care for people living with dementia through training and resources for care providers and is a research affiliate at the University of Sydney. Srivalli has a doctoral degree in education and more than seventeen years of cross-disciplinary teaching and research experience. She has extensive project management experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders (industry/ Government/University) and has managed several research and education-focussed projects in Allied Health, Education, ICT and Business sectors. She has managed various grants and funded projects which achieved successful outcomes, including making direct contributions to policy development and refinements in allied health education and preparation of allied health students for work. Srivalli is an experienced qualitative researcher and has published twenty-seven peer-reviewed journal papers and presented at various national and international conferences.
