Khera Kim is a nurse practitioner specializing in Dementia Care, Delirium Care, Chronic Disease, and Palliative care. She currently practices in both the Aged Care residential Care Setting and the Acute Care Setting. With a career spanning 19 years, Khera Pamela Kim has amassed a wealth of experience in medical-surgical nursing, intensive care, aged care, and dementia care. Her professional journey has taken her across Australia, the USA, and the Philippines before settling as a nurse practitioner in Australia for the past six years.

 

Currently, she serves as a Dementia and Delirium Nurse Practitioner at The Prince Charles Hospital, showcasing her expertise in geriatric care. She also holds the position of Nurse Practitioner for Southern Cross Care Queensland, demonstrating her versatility in healthcare.

 

She completed her post-graduate studies in Chronic Disease and Palliative Care and Nurse Practitioner Studies at the University of Queensland. She received the Chief Executive’s Awards for Metro North Health’s Staff Excellence Awards for 2023. She is a founding member of the Gerontological Alliance of Nurses Australia, the Queensland Nurse and Midwife Union, the Statewide Dementia Clinical Network, and the Statewide Older Person’s Health Clinical Network.
