Renée joined Dementia Australia five years ago, first as a Dementia Support Specialist, then as Team Leader. Prior to this, Renée worked as a clinical Occupational Therapist in community and residential care settings across metro and regional South Australia. Renée’s bachelor’s degree in health science: Physiology, Pathology and Neuroscience expanded her understanding of dementia, and her Master of Occupational Therapy gave her the qualification and skills to practically support those impacted by dementia. Under Renée’s leadership the At Home with Dementia program has exceeded targets in the 18 months and delivered high quality service to over 230 clients across Australia.
